About

Tim is a professional saxophonist based in London.  A graduate of Leeds College of Music, Tim has gone on to perform and tour across the UK and internationally with a diverse range of award-winning artists and groups.

Tim has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, USA, India and China and has performed and recorded with artists including Gary Barlow, JP Cooper, Jonas Blue, Jess Glynne, Stormzy, Busted, Nathan Sykes, Aquilo, Jahmene Douglas, Izzy Bizu, Denai Moore, Little Mix, Ady Suleiman, BB Diamond, Luke Slater (Planetary Assault Systems), Richard Earnshaw, Adam Glasser, Patrick Alan’s Motown Live Revue, The Dualers, Maroon Town and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.  

 

Tim has had the opportunity to perform in some of the most renowned venues and festivals around the world including The Royal Albert Hall,  The Royal Festival Hall, Wembley Stadium, O2 Indigo arena, Wembley SSE Arena, The London Palladium, Tomorrowland (Belgium), British Summertime Hyde Park, BoomTown Festival, London Jazz Festival, Awakenings Festival, Ljubljana Jazz Festival, Umea Jazz Festival (Sweden), Tampere Jazz Happening (Finland), Burghausen Jazz Festival (Germany), Amnesia (Ibiza), Goa International Jazz Live Festival, Sula Festival (India), JZ Club (Shanghai), Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Tallinn Music Week (Estonia), Toulouse Jazz Festival, , OCT-LOFT Festival (China), Freedom Jazz Festival (China),  National Jazz Scene (Oslo), Jazzclub Unterfahrt (Germany), BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, Camden Jazz Cafe, The Roundhouse and 606 Club.

Tim’s TV, radio and recording credits include sessions for Universal, Sony Music, BBC 1, BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 3,  Capital FM,  Jazz in the Round (BBC Radio Jazz on 3), WDR Radio (Germany), Sveriges P3 Radio (Sweden), The X Factor, ITV's Britain's Got Talent and film soundtrack for Neethane En Ponvasantham working alongside the renowned Indian film composer, Ilaiyaraaja.

Tim has also been a part of the Award-winning Jazz-Punk group WorldService Project who recorded their fourth studio album at the end of 2017 and is now released on RareNoise Records.

Tim is a D'Addario Woodwinds performing artist, and chooses jazz select reeds.  Tim also endorses Cannonball saxophones.
